Pet Portrait Process

Here is a peek into my process for creating a custom pet portrait using watercolor.

First, I sketch the pet using a photo reference.

Then I trace the sketch onto watercolor paper.

Next, I paint using watercolor.

I build up the layers until it’s done and the personality of the pet comes to life.

Lastly, I add a shadow and the pet’s name, and it’s done!
