Design Process
Booking at least 4-5 months before the wedding date is recommended for invitations.
INQUIRY
Inquiry, proposal, then book. A 50% retainer is required to keep a place in our calendar.
initial sketch
Once you’re booked, I will send a questionnaire and based on your answers I will draft a sketch of the invitation suite.
design review
You review the sketch and I make revisions until the design is just right.
final design
The final design is approved and can be sent to print.
printing
All the pieces are printed. (It can take 3-4 weeks to print)
final details
The final steps are assembly and mailing (we can assemble and mail the invitations for an extra fee). Invitations are usually sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding. Then day-of items (menus, place cards, escort cards, signage, etc.), if requested, get started. There is usually a 3-week turnaround time for day-of items, depending on the size of the project.
wedding day
Day-of items are delivered by the wedding day. Then you’re ready and can celebrate your big day! Yay!
